Congratulations to the athletes selected for USMF National Muaythai Team 2009! They are the elite group of athletes that have earned the honor to represent USA at the upcoming IFMA World Cup 2009 in quest of the “GOLD” medals and in Honor of the Authority King of Thailand’s 82nd Birthday.
This year is expected to be the largest of all IFMA World Championships with over 120 country teams attending under the watchful eyes of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), General Assembly of International Sports Federation (GAISF), Thailand Sports Authority, World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), TAFISA, and other international sporting agencies.
The tournament dates are from November 27 to December 5, 2009 and will be held at The Mall Ngamwongwan Fashion Island - MCC Hall in Bangkok, Thailand.
The USMF National Muaythai Team 2009 will consist of:
