The TIO Stadium in Darwin was packed to the rafters from the begging till the end of the events. The opening ceremony was spectacular with over 2700 athletes, from 45 nations, waiting to march proudly into the arena in front of a delirious crowd of about 7000 people.

The United States Muaythai Federation (USMF), American Red Cross & Fairtex are working together to kick off the Fairtex’s BBQ & Punch event this past Saturday, May 7th, 2011. This BBQ & Punch was hosted by Fairtex’s Master Trainer, Amorndet Ranjanthuek (aka Anh “The Angel” Fairtex) and Fairtex Program Director, Daniel “The Ambassador” Kim, USMF’s 2008 & 2009 Bronze medalist at the IFMA World Championship in South Korea and Thailand, respectively.

IFMA’s presence at this year’s SportAccord Convention proved to be the most successful yet. This year’s edition of the SportAccord Convention was one of the most important to date, as it was held in London just one year before the 2012 London Olympic Games. So that’s why the IFMA international office worked tirelessly to ensure that the bar was raised yet again this year, to create and design the biggest and most attractive booth since IFMA’s first entry into SportAccord in 2006.

Born to Fight promotion has joined the USMF Alliance to promote Muaythai and will be utilized to select top American Muaythai athletes to be part of the USMF National Team that competes at the PAMU and IFMA World Championship.
